To convey the absolute rarity of this print, in my 40 years in the field, this is the only example of the silver gelatin "Double Border" print that I have ever seen or know to be extant which appears with a Curtis signature in wax pencil rather than ink, appears with an embossed Curtis copyright stamp on the print, or to appear with an embossed The Curtis Studio Seattle stamp on the print's full sheet. This is an early silver gelatin print from originating in the Curtis Studio Seattle ((Curtis rarely made silver gelatin prints for exhibition or sale) with the condition as near perfect as possible to be found in a vintage print.
