Vintage rare 10" x 8" Goldtone Print of Prayer To The Stars, appearing in the original Curtis Studio Los Angeles frame. Complete with the Curtis Studio Los Angeles description legend as well as the original metal embossed "Edward S. Curtis Studio, Photographs - Indian Studies, Biltmore Hotel, Los Angeles" sticker present on the original frame backing paper. Negative Date: 1908. 

This Goldtone is one of the only 15 percent that were produced by Curtis that were perfect exposures, neither too dark or too light, absolutely brilliant and luminous. The Goldtone print itself is nearly flawless - no staining, no finger prints, no discoloration to any areas of the emulsion. The Curtis Studio Los Angeles frame with some chipping and paint loss but overall presents in excellent original condition.
