Vintage Goldtone image of The Vanishing Race appearing in the original Curtis Studio Seattle frame with partial Curtis Studio description legend intact as well as a partial Curtis Studio sticker present on remnant of the original frame backing, 11 x 14, circa 1904.

The Goldtone image itself is simply luminous, neither too dark nor too light, representing the perfect and most desired exposure to be found in the Goldtone process. The Curtis Studio frame is in overall excellent original condition with very minor cracking found at the bat-wing corners and some plaster loss seen on the bottom left and right corners. Further, this Goldtone has remained in the same family's collection since it was originally purchased over 94 years ago.
