Vintage Goldtone in the original Curtis Studio frame with a partial Curtis Studio Seattle sticker and a partial Curtis Studio Description legend intact on back of frame, 8 x 10, circa 1906.

The image itself is luminous, neither too dark nor too light, representing the perfect and most desired exposure to be found in the Goldtone process. This Goldtone is one of the only 15 percent that were produced by Curtis which had both perfect exposure and a flawless emulsion, free of any imperfections in the emulsion, no finger prints or flaws whatsoever.

The original Curtis Studio frame is in excellent original condition with only a few minor cracks do to age.

This work has not appeared on the market since its original purchase from the Curtis Studio Seattle prior to 1920.
