Provenance

The Kale Family Collection

An extraordinary example of The Three Chiefs - Piegan in the Goldtone medium, appearing in an original Curtis Seattle Studio frame. Original Curtis Studio Description Label attached to an archivally conserved frame back.

The image itself is luminous and brilliant, neither too dark nor too light, representing the perfect and most desired exposure to be found in the Goldtone process.

The original Curtis Studio frame is in near pristine condition.
