This Goldtone is one of the only 15 percent that were produced by Curtis which had both perfect exposure and a near flawless emulsion. The image itself is luminous and brilliant, neither too dark nor too light, representing the perfect and most desired exposure to be found in the Goldtone process. The Goldtone print itself is nearly flawless – no staining, no finger prints, no dust, scrathes, no missing spots of emulsion, no discoloration or staining to any areas of the emulsion.
