Provenance

Kale Family Collection

An extraordinary example of The Fisherman - Wishham in the Goldtone medium, appearing in an excellent condition original Curtis Seattle Studio frame.

The exposure is as perfect and brilliant as possible to be seen in the Goldtone medium. The emulsion itself is also as close to flawless to be found. The original Curtis Studio Seattle frame is in pristine original condition.

This Goldtone is one of the only 15 percent that were produced by Curtis which had both perfect exposure and a flawless emulsion, free of any imperfections in the emulsion, no finger prints or flaws whatsoever.
