Edward Curtis Platinum Print on the distinctive original Curtis Studio triple mount with a partial embossed "The Curtis Studio Seattle" stamp, signed in black ink by Curtis on the mount, with the embossed copyright credit and date stamp appearing on the print's lower left.
Titled and annotated, "The Lookout-Crow-Montana" in an unknown hand in black ink on the reverse of the mount with a partial original copyright sticker. The print is 7.5 x 5.75 inches with the mount measuring 10 x 12 inches overall.
This exquisite Edward Curtis platinum print is an unpublished variant of The Lookout. This image never appeared in "The North America Indian" as either a Volume or Portfolio Photogravure.
