This Volume XIV is numbered Set 239, originally from the full 20 Volume Set of the subscriber Samuel Hill, one of 195 original subscribers to “The North American Indian,” from an edition of 272 of the proposed edition of 500. Only 14 of the original subscribed sets were on the Japan Tissue.
The spine and four corners of the front and back covers bound in brown morocco leather, covers are of laminated binders board with the central panel on each board covered with heavy cloth, bound by H. G. Blackwell. Appearing in very good to excellent condition overall.
